The Winona ReStore and Habitat for Humanity Winona – Fillmore Counties will be hosting a one-day event on April 6th, 2013: “Your Home: ReStyled, RePurposed, ReVived!” “The event will be one part inspiration, one part education, and a total celebration of everything old is new again,” says Nancy Iglesias, Executive Director. “We are seeing some great before and after pictures from ReStore customers, and were inspired to create a show built around repurposing.”
The show will include a gathering of ideas, skills, products, and vendors with experience in repurposing, recycling, and restyling various home items. Vendors will be invited to sell creations that meet the theme “restyled, repurposed, revived.” Preference will be given to vendors who use home materials such as those available at the Habitat ReStore, or similar used items such as windows, doors, shutters, furniture, lighting, and other building materials. Limited spaces available for vendors who might also want to demonstrate some aspect of repurposing.
Vendors with an interest in this juried show should contact Jen at the Habitat office (507-457-0003 or jen@habitatwinona.org) for information regarding vendor fees. Potential vendors will be asked to complete a short application, including a description of their product and photos.
