Boy killed in farm accident (11/28/2012)
On November 24, 2012, at approximately 10:35 a.m., the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Dept. was dispatched to an accident on an Amish family farm at N35321 County Road S, Town of Pigeon, Trempealeau County, rural Blair. A 12-year-old male was attempting to un-hitch a manure spreader from a team of two horses. The horses apparently spooked and ran away, running over the victim. The victim, Leroy Lambright, did not survive his injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene.

The Blair Police Department, Tri-County Ambulance, Pigeon First Responders and Fire Dept., and Trempealeau County Coroner’s office assisted with the accident, which is still under investigation.
