The Cotter High School Choirs will present their annual Christmas Concert on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 7:30 PM in the Chapel of St. Mary of the Angels. The Chapel of St. Mary of the Angels is located on the corner of Vila and Wabasha (7th) streets.
The Cotter Concert Choir and Cotter Show Choir will present a variety of selections to help get you into the holiday spirit. Concert Choir selections will include ”Do You Hear What I Hear?””, “I Saw Three Ships”, and “One Candle”.
The Concert Choir will also sing other holiday selections and traditional Christmas carols.
Also, featured in the concert is the Show Choir, Timeless ( a select men’s group) and Divas (a select women’s group). Their selections are more popular and contemporary. The Cotter Show Choir will add selections such as “Dust In The Wind”, “Grown-Up Christmas List” and others.
The last portion of the concert is dedicated to those who enjoy the more traditional Christmas carols such as “The First Noel,” “Joy to the World,” “Silent Night” and others. All choir alumni are invited to join the Concert Choir in our traditional singing of “Peace, Peace”. The Cotter Choirs are under the direction of Cathy Snyder. Mark Roeckers is the Choir accompanist.
The concert is open to the public. There is no admission fee. All are welcome.
