The 587 million dollar jackpot in the Powerball lottery was featured hourly on the national news last week. We are still talking about it. People were rushing out to buy a chance to win this huge jackpot. I found it interesting that we add that much to our national debt in less than five hours in America! That makes it almost 5 times a day that we add that amount to the debt. This is not what we spend (we spend much more than that); this is just what we need to borrow from the Chinese and others. This credit card mentality is destroying our children’s future and security. I am glad my ancestors did not do this to me!
