The Children’s Museum of La Crosse will welcome 2013 a little early with the annual Countdown to Noon. Beginning at 10:00 am on December 29, Museum visitors can make noise makers & party hats and explore the Museum. Then, we’ll join together for a loud countdown to Noon, culminating with a massive bubble wrap stomp. The Countdown to Noon activities are included with regular Museum admission fee of $6.00 per person.
HOLIDAY HOURS:
The Children’s Museum will be closed on December 24 & 25 for Christmas. The Museum will be open December 26-29 from 10 am to 5 pm and December 30 from noon to 5 pm.
The Museum will be closed on December 31 & January 1 in honor of New Year’s Day. Regular hours resume on January 2, although the Museum or parts of it may be closed some hours between January 7 – 11 (check funmuseum.org for details) for the take-down of the MR. POTATO HEAD traveling exhibit. The last day to enjoy this exhibit is Sunday, January 6.
The Children’s Museum, located at 207 5th Avenue South in historic downtown La Crosse, offers three floors of hands-on exhibits and programming for children ages 1-12 and their adult companions. Regular hours: Tuesdays-Saturdays, 10 am to 5 pm, Sundays noon to 5 pm. Regular admission: $6 per person / $5 per person on Sundays (infants and members free). Since opening on February 28, 1999, almost 600,000 visitors have learned and played at the Children’s Museum of La Crosse!
