Fountain City Historical Society thanks contributors, offers stocking stuffers (12/12/2012)

The FCAHS had a very successful bake sale at the PTO annual Craft Sale at CFC school on Saturday December 1st. We sold out of all the baked goods which is as good as it can get. We had very good sales of 2013 calendars of FC in years past and a similar DVD of the city in years gone by. We have many items available for those who are looking for stocking stuffers and great items to send to former Fountain City natives who now live far away. The most amazing aspect of the event was the generosity of members and non-members who contributed baked items for the sale. It was heart warming to watch all the goodies come in from those who were not obligated in any way to contribute. Only in a small town do you have such giving folks. We thank them sincerely.

We will not meet in December but will resume meetings in January on the third Tuesday at 1:00.
