The letter from Mr. Hanzel asking why the Winona Public Library doesn’t subscribe to “any reputable Catholic Journal” raises a couple of questions. Why doesn’t he consider the Courier qualified and how about Our Sunday Visitor, or are these papers not Liberal enough for him?
The Winona Public Library, like most of us, operates on a tight budget and cannot possibly afford subscriptions to every publication in existence. Maybe Mr. Hanzel could donate one or more subscriptions to the library. That would solve his problem.
