A couple of weeks ago someone commented how ignorant and uneducated people were to vote for Mr. Romney. I happened to be one of those poor souls.
There are several questions I’d like to ask a sage of the Democratic Party. The answers would be of great educational value to me.
As a retired sailor I would like to know why Democrats took the separate and independent Defense Department pension fund and merged it with Social Security to provide benefits to foreign nationals who never paid in one cent?
Why did you penalize us by withholding our pension benefits after twenty years of loyal and faithful service? Are you hoping me and my shipmates die before age sixty and one half so we will never collect it?
Why do soldiers and sailors have to pay insurance premiums for health care like everybody else? Our blood and guts are on the line twenty-four/seven, NOT like everybody else.
When reservists go for their two weeks active duty why were we required to carry our civilian medical and dental insurance cards because we would only receive medical care if it was life-threatening?
The Democratic Party has always been the champion for American workers. Since the Clinton administration it has become the champion of Chinese workers. Where are the tariffs on cheap Chinese goods that flood our markets forcing American factories to close or go overseas? Your failure has resulted in millions of Americans put in the unemployment line.
Since President Johnson’s “Great Society,” you have created a separate class in the United States who are totally dependent on the government for food, clothing, housing, and medical care. Why have you destroyed any and all incentives for these people to go to work?
Lastly, why does the Democratic Party want to use my tax dollars to pay college tuition to unregistered (illegal) aliens when I cannot afford to send my own children to college?
There are too many more questions to ask to satisfy my quest for knowledge. Any answers the Democratic Party can provide will greatly advance my education.
