Rogacki, Josef L. (12/23/2012)
December 19, 1949

December 17, 2012

Joe Rogacki, age 62, of Winona, Minn., and formerly of Joliet, Ill., died peacefully Monday morning, December 17, 2012, at his residence in Winona.

Joe was born in Germany on December 19, 1949, to his beloved parents, Josef and Stanislawa Rogacki. He grew up in Winona and attended Cotter High. After graduating, Joe moved to Joliet, Illinois, and worked for Caterpillar for 43 years.

Joe was a loving son, brother, uncle and a friend to all. He enjoyed cookouts with family, fishing with friends and a cold beer after a hard day’s work. He was a member of the Dale AC in Joliet and a member of their board. Joe had a generous heart and was always willing to help a friend in need. Joe was a diehard Chicago Bears fan and loved playing cards with friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father and his sister, Theresa Webber. Joe is survived by: his brother, Ignatius Rogacki of Winona; his two nieces: Laurie Webber and Nancy (Joseph) Kaluzny; and two nephews: Jeff (Tia) Webber and Mark (Diane) Webber. He will be dearly missed by his great-niece, Megan Kaluzny, and his great-nephews: Benjamin Winters, Joseph Kaluzny, and Jacob, Max and Mickey Webber. Fr. Paul J. Breza officiated a private family service and Joe was laid to rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery on Friday, December 21, 2012, in Winona.

Online condolences or memories may be left for Joe’s family at www.watkowski-mulyck.com
