What a great article about Madison School. I attended that school a few years before going to Central School. I had Miss. Kinzie as a K teacher and remember some of the other teachers and principals. Kent Stever and I have been longtime friends both graduating from WHS and WSU. I always enjoy his articles about Winona.
I usually check your site during the week to see what has been written. When in Winona, visiting my 101-year-old mother at a nursing home, I always pick up a copy of the Winona Post at the Days Inn motel.
