Vehicle strikes guardrail, injures one (01/02/2013)
The Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Department received a report on December 28, at 9:23 p.m. of a one-car accident on Highway 54/53, east of McKeeth Drive. A vehicle driven by David M. Kaiser, 53, of Galesville, Wis., slid on the extremely icy road and crossed both lanes of traffic, striking the eastbound guardrail with the front end of his vehicle. A passenger in the vehicle, Duwayne M. Est, 41, of Galesville, was treated for a head injury and transported to a local hospital. The accident is under investigation.
