Inez M. Pelley, 82, of Fountain City, Wis., died Sunday, January 13, 2013, at her home.
Inez Mae was born December 17, 1930, in Howard County, Iowa, to Ludwig and Anna (Kuhn) Semerad. On February 3, 1951, she married Milo “Mike” Pelley; and he preceded her in death January 19, 1995. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Fountain City.
She is survived by her children: Francine (David) Willoughby, Choctaw, Okla., Debra (Timothy) Ours, Owasso, Okla,, Annette (Ronald) Haugen, Utica, Minn., Mary Jo (Kent) Willoughby, Amissville, Va., James (Dora) Pelley, Fountain City, Wis,, Carol (Mark) Osborn, Warrenton, Va., and Kevin (Naomi) Pelley, Plymouth, Minn.; 16 grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren; brothers: Robert (Lois); Richard (Beth); Alfred; Leonard (Marlene), Paul (Ruth) and Dennis (Rita); a sister, Bernice Kvidera; daughter-in-law, Jamie Pelley and other relatives. Inez was an artist, and many cherished her paintings and pressed flower note cards. She loved baking and canning for her family. She also enjoyed gardening, birds, and puzzles. Her favorite games were cards and Upwords.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, a son, Dennis, a brother, Arthur and a sister, Ione Stodola.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 19, 2013, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Fountain City, Wis., with Rev. Brian Jazdzewski officiating. A spring interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fountain City, Wis.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, January 18, 2013, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and also begin at 9:30 Saturday at the church.
Casket bearers will be sons-in-law; David, Tim, Ron, Kent, Mark, and grandson, Michael Pelley.
