Alice Spaag died at Speltz Homes in Lewiston on January 5, 2013. She was born to William and Elsie (Pagel) Ledebuhr in 1923.
Alice had three sisters: Dorothy (Merlin) Schulz, Ruby (Carl) Buermann and Clara (Richard) Krueger. Also three brothers: Ervin (Darlene) Ledebuhr, Edvin (Lois) Ledebuhr, Everett (Margaret) Ledebuhr.
Alice married Clarence Spaag in 1946. Clarence was born in 1923 to Alfred and Frida (Reps) Spaag in Stockton Valley, Minn. Clarence died at home in Stockton Valley on June, 17, 2011.
Clarence had two sisters: Ruth (Earl) Casper, Mabel (James) Nagle. Also two brothers: Les (Maxine) Spaag, Len (Carol) Spaag. Alice and Clarence raised their three children on a farm in Middle Valley, near Minnesota City, Minn. Donna (Cal) Friesen, Steve (Penny) Spaag and Sarah (Gordon) Denzer will miss Clarence and Alice, and remember their hard work, common sense and intelligence in providing for the family and helping others.
