Semi strikes car in Alma (01/16/2013)

On January 11, at 3:50 p.m. the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Department received a report of a two vehicle crash on CTH E near the intersection of Buena Vista Road in the City of Alma. Investigation revealed Josh R. Wickum, 43, of Menomonie, Wis., was southbound on CTH E in a semi truck and trailer which struck a car driven by Gerald P. Baecker, 85, of Alma, while negotiating a curve. Baecker was transported by Alma Ambulance to a Wabasha hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The crash is under investigation.
