Winona County Community Services, Public Health Division, still has flu vaccine available for uninsured children. We have a limited supply for uninsured children age 6 months through 18 years. The vaccine is the best way to prevent influenza or at least reduce the severity of illness. The vaccine takes 2 weeks to take effect. Flu season continues through the spring, so it is not too late to vaccinate your child. Please call for an appointment: 457-6400. Ask for Maternal/Child Health.
