|
|
On Wednesday, January 23, at 10:05 a.m. the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Department was notified of a two vehicle crash on Sth 25 near the Wabasha bridge. Kayla Bray of Pepin, Wis., was driving her 2012 Chevy truck when she began to slow her vehicle for traffic that was in front of her. Bray said she was struck from the rear by a 2000 Chevy Cavalier driven by Irene Christopherson of Nelson, Wis. Christopherson said she saw Bray slow down but she was unable to stop in time, hitting Bray’s rear bumper. Christopherson received a minor injury and refused medical treatment. At the time of the crash ice patches were found and could be a contributing factor in the crash. No citations were issued.
