Fundraiser, student talent show at Ridgeway School Feb. 2 (01/27/2013)
Ridgeway Community School will hold a “There’s No Place Like Home” meat and potato dinner followed by a free student talent show in the school multi-purpose room on Saturday, February 2nd. The dinner will feature roast beef, potatoes, vegetable, blueberry dessert and a beverage. The meal will be served from 5:00 to 7:00 pm and takeouts are available. The free student talent show begins at 7:15 pm. The presale discount ticket price for tickets purchased by Wednesday, January 30th are $6 for adults, $4 for children under 12, and children under three are free . Meal prices increase by $1 after January 30th. Advanced sale tickets are available at the school office, Hy-Vee and Midtown Foods and at the door. The talent variety show is free and features RCS students and alumni dancing, singing and performing on a variety of instruments. Proceeds from this event will go towards the purchase of handicapped accessible playground equipment for the school.
