Five victims woke up to find their tires slashed on Sunday and Monday mornings in Winona and Goodview. There has been a rash of late-night tire slashings this week. The Winona Police Department received three reports of slashed tires on Sunday, January 27, and another on Monday, January 28. The Goodview Police Department received a report on Sunday as well. The slashings occurred in the 350 block of West 10th Street, the 800 block of West Mark Street, the 1050 block of West Fifth Street, and the 500 block of Center Street in Winona and in the 800 block of 49th Avenue, Goodview, in the 350 block of West 10th Street, the 800 block of West Mark Street, the 1050 block of West Fifth Street, and the 500 block of Center Street in Winona and in the 800 block of 49th Avenue, Goodview. Winona Deputy Police Chief Tom Williams said he believed one person or several people were responsible for all of the incidents.
