Several months ago, I found a ring lying on the ground at The Winona Farm compost site. Luckily, this ring was reunited with it’s grateful owner, who had read my letter to the editor. After the letter was published in the paper, I received twelve calls from people who thought that they might have lost their ring here while unloading brush or leaving grass clippings, maybe one of you are the owner of the ring I found today.
Today’s discovery was another gold wedding ring, this time it was in among some coins from our donation jar or box. There are two scenarios that come to mind here, either the ring slipped off a finger as someone left their donation, or it was in a pocket and had been pulled out inadvertently with some coins and dropped into the jar with them.
I hope that there is a happy ending for this lost ring as was the case with the first one.
If you misplaced a ring last year and there is a chance it was lost here, call me at 454 3126.
