Police officials released four more reports of slashed tires in Winona on Sunday, January 27. That makes eight total incidents of slashed tires that night in Winona, and one in Goodview the following day. Most locations of these incidents follow the pattern of previous reports: they occurred on Winona’s west side. The reports came from the 500 block of Dacota Street, the 700 block of Gilmore Avenue, the 500 block of West Ninth Street, and the 500 block of Center Street. Some vehicles had been parked on the street, others in driveways. All had multiple tires punctured, presumably by a knife.
