Open House at WCHC Center Feb. 10 (02/06/2013)
Join us for a fun filled afternoon for free at the History Center on Sunday February 10 from 12 - 4 p.m.!

Entertainment Schedule: 12:00 - Nancy Knopp on piano; 12:30 – Sons of Norway Chorus - songs, stories and jokes; 1:15 – Fish of the Refuge with Ranger Ed- Ranger Ed is the Environmental Outreach Educator with the Fish and Wildlife Service on the Upper Mississippi River National Fish and Wildlife Refuge (Winona District.) The presentation gives a brief overview about fish habitat, and some of the challenges as well as solutions implemented to improve fish habitat on the river refuge. These improvements are directed toward the sport angler as well as the commercial fishing industry. This is a family presentation. 2:00 – Flanagan Irish Dancers with Miss Winona, Serica Rowley; 2:45 – Reineke & Lowery - a mix of old-time songs and instrumentals, with a few newer ones thrown in.

Valentine Crafts will be offered all afternoon in the classroom, many area clubs and organizations will be in Wanek Hall offering information and demonstrations and a wide array of treats will be served for some light refreshments.

Stop by the “Victorian Valentine” photo booth, Museum docents will have Arti[fact] Hunts for visitors of all ages to go on in the exhibit galleries, plus More.
