Winona Film Society features ‘Sun Li and the Poet’ February 8-9 (02/06/2013)

The Winona Film Society will feature the film “Shun Li and the Poet” this weekend February 8th and 9th.
In a small town near Venice, a young immigrant from China finds a kindred soul in an aging Slav fisherman nicknamed “the poet,” until locals become suspicious. The film is not rated and runs 98 minutes/in Italian w/English subtitles. The Film Society is located in the Winona Arts Center, 5th and Franklin. Features start at 8 pm both nights. Admission is $5.00 and patrons may bring a beverage of their choice.
