There are just some times as we walk the journey of life, we need to go the extra mile. The abortion issue is one of those times. There are already many people doing just that. The March for Life, Silent No More, The Life Chain, 40 Days for Life, MCCL, Birthright, Grace Place, Cathedral Pro-Life prayer service led by our Bishop Quinn, just to name a few. I want to go the extra mile as well by praying, donating money to pro-life causes and continuing to write pro-life articles.
We have spent 40 years in this desert of the sin of abortion. We are surely getting closer to the promised land of peace, God wants that for all of us - life, liberty and happiness, so He walks with us and has gone the extra mile for us in so many different ways.
Think of the child crying for help; please mommy, take my hand, not my life. Mommy you killed me.
Let us as well see the tears mothers are shedding because their child is no more. We must go the extra mile to help them see the truth concerning their unborn child. It is truly a gift from God - God’s dream come true.
God’s Dream Come True
One day in heaven a few years ago
God had a wonderful plan
I’ll create a child with a playful spirit
...and that’s how you began.
So on this day we celebrate
The wonderful gift of you
Happy birthday to you and thanks be to God
For you are God’s dream come true.
P.S. I don’t condemn or judge anyone who may have had an abortion. I just say go to the foot of the cross. God is waiting to forgive you.
