Gale Star Music Night series begins February 22 (02/10/2013)
Old Main’s “Gale Star Music Night” series in Galesville will open with faculty and students from Onalaska’s Studio di Canto in a show called “The Art of Voice and Piano” Friday, February 22 at 7:30 p.m. Steve Marking and Dean Witz will perform and present their students for solos and ensembles. They have promised a great show to kick off of this exciting series of concerts in the beautiful and acoustically excellent Victorian auditorium at Old Main in Galesville.

Dr. Eric Brisson and Dr. Deanne Mohr, music faculty at Winona State University, will “Make the Piano Shine” in the second show, which will be March 1. “Young Musicians” from the G-E-T schools will entertain March 8. “Heart Strings” the unique harp choir from Winona, will perform for our “Irish Holiday” March 15. Our March 22 variety show will bring “A Breath of Spring.” All the “Gale Star” shows will be at 7:30 p.m. Old Main is located at the south end of 12th Street in Galesville. Turn south from W Ridge or W. Gale.

Call Old Main at 608-582-4412 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday or Tuesday to make reservations. These shows honor the fine music program for which Gale College was known during its heyday.
