On behalf of the Winona Park & Recreation Department, I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the many participants and spectators who attended the Goose Bump Jump on Saturday, February 9, 2013. The 130 participants raised $8,000 for the scholarship fund. The scholarship fund exists to decrease the financial barrier to recreation programs and services. I would also like to thank the many volunteers, staff and business partners that assisted with event preparations and day of activities. By all standards the day and event were a huge success.
This collaborative effort is a great example of the community coming together to support one another.
