The Winona Middle School PTA will put on its 2nd annual Health Fair for Middle School students Feb 22. With the goal of helping to develop people who are capable of caring for themselves and others, the Fair will feature ten presenters from various health-related disciplines who will provide expert, specialized information to students in a face-to-face context.
In pursuit of this goal, presenters from numerous areas of our community have graciously donated their time and expertise. Being run on Feb 22 inside the Middle School’s regularly scheduled Fun Night, the Health Fair makes it a Fun Night Plus! Like the Fun Night, the Health Fair is open to all current Winona Middle School students, 4 to 5:30 PM for 5th & 6th Graders, and 7-9 PM for 7th & 8th Graders. Even though entry is limited in this manner, we feel compelled to inform you of this event since so many fine community members and businesses have stepped up, and bounded together to share in a common vision to develop healthy, knowledgeable young people.
