Mark G. Knothe, age 55, of Richland Center, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at the Richland Hospital.
Mark was born on December 23, 1957, in Richland Center, the son of Albert and Mary (Kinney) Knothe. Mark graduated from Richland Center High School in 1976 and worked in construction as a concrete finisher. He enjoyed family and friend gatherings, outdoors, fishing, hunting and golfing.
Survivors include a son, Chad Knothe, of Cottage Grove Wis., a daughter, Jamie (Jeremy) Pauls of Richland Center, his mother, Mary Knothe of Richland Center, Chad and Jamie’s mother, Pam Moran of Richland Center, three siblings, Terry (Jane) Knothe of Winona, Minn., Mary Pat (Jay) DeLong of Clinton, Mike Knothe of Richland Center, three grandchildren, Danica and Cody Pauls, Kaleia Knothe, a special friend, Jeanette Ewing, stepmother, Judy Knothe, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Knothe and his grandparents.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, February 25, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the Stafford Funeral Home in Richland Center. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2013, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Stafford Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made.
