Cheryl R. (Rinn) Meyer, age 60, of Trempealeau, Wis., passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2013, at Mayo Health System – Franciscan Healthcare in La Crosse, Wis.
Cheryl was born on November 21, 1952, in Winona, to Richard and Alpha (Peterson) Rinn. She was united in marriage with David Meyer on March 1, 1986, in Winona.
She worked for many years as a hairdresser at the Spurgeon’s Store in Winona. Cheryl will be remembered for her wonderful cooking and baking, and her beautiful rose gardens – her favorite color of rose was yellow. Family was very important to Cheryl, and she especially loved spoiling her grandchildren.
Cheryl is lovingly survived by her husband, David; her children: Shannon (David Holte) Curran, Stephanie Curran, and Andy (Nicole) Meyer, her beloved grandsons: Ethan and Corbin Meyer; her siblings: Gerry (Shirley) Rinn, Joanne (Bob) Franzen, Janice (Bob) Dornfeld, Dan (Diane) Rinn, Paulette (Duane) Kinneberg, and Mary Rinn; sisters-in-law, Caroline Rinn and Barbara Rinn; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Susan Rinn; and brothers: Lawrence and Alan Rinn.
Visitation will be held at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 27, 2013, from 5:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7 p.m. Deacon Justin Green will officiate.
