Newcomb, Harlan J. (02/27/2013)
Harlan J. Newcomb, 74, of rural Arcadia, Wis., died Saturday February 23, 2013, in his home. Harlan was born July 13, 1938, to John and Carmen (Scharlau) Newcomb in Arcadia, Wis.

He attended area schools. Harlan farmed in the Lewis Valley Area. He was an avid hunter, a member of the NRA, and a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Arcadia.

Harlan is survived by two sisters: Mona (Leo) Hovell, and Carol (Melvin) Comero. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 28, 2013, at Christ Lutheran Church in Arcadia. Rev. Peter Jonas will officiate.

Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until services at the church on Thursday. Burial will be at a later date. Wozney–Killian Funeral Home in Arcadia assisted the family with arrangements.
