Snowmobile crash reported near Wabasha (03/03/2013)

On Thursday, February 28, the Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a snowmobile crash near County Road 72, Hyde Park Township in Wabasha County. A snowmobile driven by Jason Bye appeared to have attempted to jump across the road off the snowmobile trail and struck a guy wire, causing Bye to be thrown from the sled. Bye was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital. The crash is under investigation.
