St. Charles, Minn.

What I saw happen to Dr. Feyereisn at the St. Charles City Council meeting Tuesday night was about as bad as it gets. It is no surprise that the group Concerned Citizens has turned into such a large organization—against the city. A Mayo Clinic doctor with health information only—not trying to sell either side and Spitzer would not let him give his planned presentation. This shows how hard Spitzer and Koverman are still working for the oil companies. After seeing this all the people in town need to demand that we don’t want any more! Make a motion to end it here forever. This town can’t keep going on like this. All the people working so hard with petitions twice and everything else just to watch Mayor Spitzer discredit them or Koverman to use the City Attorney to try to find some technicality wrong with the petitions rather than working with the people and doing what we all want. Don’t ever forget Spitzer and Koverman are the people that pushed this 35-acre development on us that no one wanted - and now it needs to be paid for.
