Woman charged with selling marijuana to youth (04/03/2013)
By Chris Rogers

Schenia Latrice Pettite, 26, of Lewiston, was arrested last week for allegedly selling marijuana to Lewiston area high school-age kids. Lewiston Police officers arrested Pettite on April 1, following a traffic stop, but the Winona County Sheriff’s Department had been investigating Pettite for weeks. Deputies conducted two searches of Pettite’s apartment in March, finding drug paraphernalia and bags containing what they believe to be marijuana, according to the report. Sheriff’s Office officials said that after the searches, investigators continued to gather evidence involving Lewiston high school kids.

Pettite is being referred for three charges of sale of a controlled substance to a person under 18, five charges of conspiring with a person under 18, and at least one charge of sale of narcotic drugs to a person under 18, according to the report.
