A monthly program series for families with children ages three to five years old will kick off on Saturday, April 20 at Whitewater State Park. The new series, called “Little Sprouts”, will be offered on the third Saturday of each month at 10am.
Families will gather in the Visitor Center Discovery Room at Whitewater Stat Park. From there they will rotate among a variety of activity stations incorporating stories, crafts and outdoor activities that introduce pre-school age children to some of the creatures and features of the park.
The Little Sprouts program series is offered free of charge and families do not need to sign up. All vehicles entering the state park must have a valid Minnesota State Park vehicle permit. Vehicle permits can be purchased at the Visitor Center for $5/daily or $25/annual.
