Mid West Music Fest (MWMF) is set for April 18 - 20, and will bring music from across the state and region to Winona venues. Alt-Rock, Post-Punk, Shoegaze, Indie-Rock – La Crosse, Wis. Oddball, yet strangely pleasant upbeat alternative rock featuring Queens of the Stone Age-influenced riffing and warbled guitar tones usually reserved for acts considered under the shoegaze canopy.

Fri. 4/19 – 6:15 p.m. Ed’s (no name) Block Party
Indie Rock – La Crosse, Wis. and Winona; energetic power-pop act featuring massive loops, driving synth and guitar, and “risk taking” vocal melodies, at times sung into a megaphone. Don’t call them a duo anymore!—Jason Foht now plays bass in the group.
