Read the Bible - please (04/14/2013)
From: David Foss

Galesville, Wis.

God inspired men to write and compile a book (the Bible) as a personal letter to each one of us. God expects each one of us to read, study, obey and do what He has written in His personal letter to each one of us. Isaiah 34:16 II Timothy 2:15 Acts 5:29 Luke 8:21

If everyone would read the Bible, nearly all of our places of worship would be unattended and closed - permanently. Having read the Bible (Godís personal letter to us) untold millions (billions, perhaps) would realize that they have been deceived.

Having read the Bible, no one would be of this opinion: That the Bible was to be read only by a privileged few. No, it will become quite evident that God intends that everyone read His personal letter to each of us.

It is of utmost importance that we search the Scripture to find out if we have been deceived; after all, we are to obey God, not man. We must remember that where we spend eternity is at stake; therefore read the Bible - please!

Ponder Matthew 7:15 Colossians 2:8 I John 4:1 II Peter 2:1 Ephesians 5:6 Galatians 4:16
