Rollover causes minor injuries (04/17/2013)
On Sunday, April 14, the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Department received a call of a one-vehicle rollover on Hwy 53 just north of Daulton Road in the Town of Gale. A vehicle driven by Lee Vang, 38, of La Crosse, Wis., was traveling south on Hwy. 53, when he lost control of the vehicle due to snow and ice on the roadway. The vehicle entered the southbound shoulder sideways, crossed a driveway and rolled onto the roof as the vehicle entered the ditch above a culvert. The driver exited the vehicle himself and had facial injuries, most likely caused by the airbag inflating. Vang was treated on the scene and refused transport to a hospital. He was wearing his seatbelt. Vang was cited for license restrictions violation. The accident is under investigation.
