For the very first time ever, Winona will be honored by a visit of the Polish Consulate of Chicago, Paulina Kapuscinska.
She will visit the Polish Museum on May 5th at 5:30pm for the closing of the May Crowning Ceremony.
This is all part of the Polish Constitution Days Celebration May 3,4 & 5th 2013 and her presensce will be the high point of our final day. Please come out to join us for a very special evening with our Consul Gen-eral. Ms. Kapuscinska duties cover the entire Midwest. She is making a special effiort to connect with all of Polonia in her district and we are very honored to have her visit our humble museum.
We will have a very special presentation by Paulina Kapuścińska, she is our current Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Chicago. The Consul General will be presenting the Institute and Father Paul J. Breza with the Cavalierís Cross of the Or-der of Merit of the Republic of Poland Fifth Class. The Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland is bestowed on foreigners and Polish citizens permanently living abroad, who by their activities have made out-standing contributions to international co-operation and to bonds between the Re-public of Poland and other nations and countries. We are very excited to receive such an honor.
