Minnesota City Community Readers will meet on Thursday, April 25, at 6:30 pm at the former Minnesota City School, 115 Iowa Street in Minnesota City. The book being discussed is Some Girls, Some Hats, and Hitler: A True Story by Trudi Kanter. All readers are invited whether or not they have read the book. Please note that the group has changed the meeting date and will now meet on the fourth Thursday of the month instead of the third Thursday.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Minnesota sponsors free support groups for families who have a relative with a mental illness. Led by trained facilitators who also have a family member with mental illness, the support groups help families develop better coping skills and find strength through sharing their experiences.
