Dalton Cook benefit May 19 (05/08/2013)
Dalton Cook, a 2012 Winona Senior High graduate, became seriously ill after traveling out of the country in March. He has had eleven blood transfusions, 4 IVIG transfusions and two bone marrow biopsies. After numerous tests physicians from the Mayo Clinic are still unsure of the cause of his illness. In fact, the Mayo Clinic has put out a national query looking for answers. In order to help with medical costs, friends and familiy are holding a “Do It for Dalton” benefit on May 19 from 1p.m to 6 p.m. at the Black Horse restaurant in Winona, Minn. A suggested donation of $5.00 gets you in the door and the opportunity to hear some great music, bid on fabulous gift baskets and purchase some tasty food and drink. If you enjoy country, folk or rock music you won’t want to miss this event. Music will include nationally acclaimed Simone Perrin and John Calabrese; the Weathered Heads and Hannah Haupt.

A fund has been set up at Winona National Bank. To send donations, send it to the Dalton Cook Fund c/o Winona National Bank, P.O. Box 499, Winona, Minn., 55987

For more information, contact Kris Thomas at 507-459-3088 or Peggy Whalen at 507-429-0272
