. Fourteen bridges in Winona County will be replaced or removed between now and 2014, with another eight bridge projects planned for 2015 and 2016. The county will spend more than $3.2 million on the bridge projects for 2013 and 2014, using a combination of state, federal, county and township funds for the work.

Following are some of the bridges that will be replaced this summer: Homer Avenue bridge, North Pine Creek Road bridge, Little Trout Valley Road bridge, Owl Road bridge, Fairwater Road bridge, Connaughty Drive bridge, and the Trout Creek Road bridge. Pictured above is the Cedar Ridge Drive bridge in Homer Township, which received maintenance in 2010 after being deemed structurally deficient. It will be replaced in 2014.
