I have submitted two neighborhood potholes to the National Pothole Registry (NPR) to be recognized as historic sites. These two superior samples have achieved the size and depth (along with age) that I believe should be nationally cited as American Superior Sample Holes (ASSH).
If you would like to tour these specimens, please visit Minnesota Street Alpha, and Wilse Street Sparky. (The latter is so named for the unfortunate pet dog who was lost in its depth.) I must warn you that you must do so at your own risk; I cannot be responsible for lost items, children, or pets. (Poor Sparky was a good dog.)
