Meetings (05/22/2013)
May 22

The regular monthly meeting of the Hiawatha Valley Education District Board of Directors is scheduled for Wednesday, May 22, at 7:30 p.m. in the Conference Room at the Hiawatha Valley Education District, 1410 Bundy Boulevard, Winona.

May 23

Minnesota City Community Readers will meet on Thursday, May 23, at 6:30 p.m. at the former Minnesota City School, 115 Iowa Street, Minnesota City. The book being discussed is Ordinary Grace by William Kent Krueger. All readers are invited whether or not they have read the book. Please note that the group has changed the meeting date and will now meet on the fourth Thursday of the month instead of the third Thursday. The book for the June 27 discussion will be Giants in the Earth by O.E. Rolvaag. The Readers will not meet again until September 26 and the discussion will be on Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes.

June 6

Cathedralís Young at Heart will meet on June 6, starting with 12:10 p.m. Mass followed by a lunch of ham, macaroni salad, baked beans, relish tray, roll, and strawberry short cake. Entertainment will be singer Julie Olstad. Make reservation by calling Marge at 454-3433 no later than June† 3rd. Let her know if you need a ride. All are welcome.
