Powerful storm rolls through Trempealeau County (06/02/2013)
At approximately 3:50 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, the National Weather Service in La Crosse upgraded the existing severe thunderstorm watch to a severe thunderstorm warning for Trempealeau County. At approximately 4 p.m. Trempealeau County experienced high winds, heavy rain, and scattered reports of trees down and power interruptions. There was one report of a pole shed taken down between Blair and Whitehall along U.S. Highway 53. Most municipalities in the county sounded their storm sirens. There were no reports of any injuries as a result of these storms.
