Buege, John H. (06/02/2013)

John H. Buege, age 48, of 355 W. Mark St., Winona, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at Winona Health after fighting a long illness and surrounded by his family.

John was born on January 5, 1965, in Winona, to Glen and Rosemary (Goertz) Buege. He graduated from Winona Senior High School in 1983 and Winona Area Vocational School in 1985.

He was employed by Stansfield Vending.

He married Zina Beth Kreisher; they were later divorced.

John was a member of Central Lutheran Church and the Lewiston Sportsman Club. He loved black powder hunting and fishing; he loved the river and camping on the sand bars.

He is survived by his parents, Glen and Rosemary Buege, Winona; daughter, Mary Kate Buege, Rushford; several cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Central Lutheran Church, with Pastor Beth Krolack officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the church from 1 p.m. until time of services on Saturday.

Assisting as casket bearers will be best friends, William Chapman, Raymond Molitor and Don Mehren.

Memorials may be directed to Central Lutheran Church.

Martin-Myhre Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
