Bonnie Mae Nissalke, age 67, of 957 E. 4th St., Winona, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Lake Winona Manor.
Bonnie was born on May 9, 1946, in Winona to Elmer and Hazel (Otis) Brommerich. She graduated from Winona Senior High School in 1964. She married Ronald A. Nissalke on April 12, 1966, in Winona.
Bonnie was employed as a dispatcher for Bob Brink Incorporated from 1979 to 1999. She loved animals, birds and nature; and her dogs, Annabelle and Sally.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Ronald; mother, Hazel, Winona; three children, Jack (Julie) Nissalke, Winona; Laurie Nissalke, Winona and Kristal Nissalke, Los Angeles, Calif.; three grandchildren, Matt, Corey and Cody; six great grandchildren; brothers, Roger (Cynthia) Brommerich, Winona and Kenneth Brommerich, Winona; and sister, Ruth (Willard) Gaedy, Ridgeway.
She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Brommerich.
Those who knew Bonnie were made stronger by knowing her. We can find peace knowing she will now be able to run through the fields with flowers and daisies without losing any breath and enjoy her time with Jesus.
An open house memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2013, starting at 2 p.m. at Bonnie’s home, 957 E. 4th Street, Winona. All are welcome.
