Anti-business Minnesota (06/26/2013)
From: Ronald L. Moe

Arcadia, Wis.

I have and do a lot of shopping in Winona. But that will change when Minnesota’s 6.875% sales tax kicks in. From where I live Onalaska, Wis., is 10 miles farther and Eau Claire is about 15 miles farther.

I will start doing my shopping in Wisconsin where they appreciate my business. Democrats have always been anti-business. They tax and regulate you to death and then waste the money on mindless projects.

Wisconsin now has a Republican controlled house, senate and governor. Governor Walker took office with a $3.6 billion deficit from Democrat Doyle. Walker balanced the budget and Wisconsin has a surplus. A budget is expected to pass soon cutting $650 million in taxes over a two-year period. Democrats in the house and senate are howling.

So goodbye anti-business Democrats in Minnesota and hello friendly Wisconsin.
