Songs of Hope, an award-winning international youth concert featuring over forty young people from Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and South and North America, will be performing on Saturday, July 13, at 7:00 p.m. at the First Congregational Church on the corner of Broadway and Johnson.
This performance for all ages features singing, instrumental music and dance, including Raggae, Rock, Jazz, Blues, Second Line and folk music from fourteen countries. Freewill donation at the door.
On the following day, Sunday, July 14, at 10 a.m., the Songs of Home youth will be sharing three pieces of music at an interfaith worship service that will include individuals from different world religious traditions participating in readings, prayers and other parts of the service. All are welcome.
