Man arrested on multiple charges (07/10/2013)
By Chris Rogers

Gregory James Lanoue, 74, of Winona, was arrested for domestic assault causing fear, domestic assault causing harm, and interference with an emergency call after he allegedly shoved an adult female and allegedly took her phone away from her as she called Winona police, according to the report. At 11:30 p.m. officers were called to a residence on West Fifth Street. The female caller and alleged victim said that Lanoue pushed her down and yelled at her. He said that she hit him first, according to the report. The woman’s 911 call was disrupted, officers reported. Lanoue and the woman told police that she handed the phone to Lanoue during the 911, but police officials said that the woman can be heard pleading for Lanoue not to take the phone away in a recording of the 911 call.
