Do you want to learn how to make mouth-watering stir fry in the comfort of your own kitchen? Now, you can and you can learn from Mr. Chong Sher Vang, a former owner of Chong’s Noodle House and a staff member at Project FINE. Join Chong as he shares his expertise from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, August 6 at Winona Volunteer Services, 402 E. 2nd Street, in Winona.
You’ll learn about:
• How to use locally grown vegetables
• How to make spicy dishes and how to turn down the heat
• Ways to prepare simple and healthy meals
Recipes and samples will be provided, and attendees will have a chance to win some stir fry essentials. The event is open to the public. Register by Friday, August 2, by calling 452-5591. Seating is limited.
