American Legion Riders,
Winona Post 9
Did you hear the rumble in Winona on Sunday, July 28? The American Legion in Winona welcomed the 13th Annual Ronald McDonald Cruise to our beautiful city. There were 1,163 riders who ran the route and raised over $130,000 in donations and auction bids. The Legion Auxiliary hosted a lunch to feed the hungry bikers, while the Legion Riders assisted in the parking lot to make sure every bike had a place to park. We would like to extend a thank-you to the Winona Fire Department for spending the morning with us and the Winona Police Department for assisting with safe entry and exit for all the riders.
We would also like to thank the citizens of Winona for their patience with the riders on Sarnia and Hwy. 43. The event was a fun and successful day for everyone!
